I am a sucker for a good cocktail dress. They make you feel fancy without being overly dressed for every day life. A cocktail dress at dinner, acceptable. A ball gown at dinner... not so much. So they are the closest you can get to dressing like a Disney princess in every day life.

I am loving the midi length right now! Very 50's throwback & I think it is fabulous. It is so feminine & elegant. If you haven't ever tried the midi length in a dress or skirt I challenge you to branch out & give it a go. Many people talk themselves out of it saying the length won't be flattering (when it usually is!) but I dare you to give it a try. Pick out your favorite cocktail midi, pair it with statement earrings, a cute clutch, a fancy pair of heels & some red lipstick & hit the town!
