Here is my booklist from July & my thoughts:
1 - Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisenberg
*Didn't finish it yet!
2 - Tribes by Seth Godin -
*Godin doesn't disappoint. He delivers his usual motivational essays that challenge you to be better. I loved this read & it was exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend if you are striving to be better at your job.
3 - An Accidental Athlete by Bingham
*What an entertaining read! I wasn't expecting it to be so funny. In the book you follow the true life story of "the penguin" in the running world. He makes you laugh, he makes you think, but most of all he empowers you regardless or age or shape to get up and get going! An excellent read if you are in an exercise slump and need some motivating.
4 - Dolci Di Love by Sarah-Kate Lynch
*The one book I didn't even crack open yet :( Have you read it yet?
5 - Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James
*I am a die hard Austen fan and this book didn't disappoint. It tells the story of Mr. & Mrs. Darcy a few years after they were married. It is a mystery book that keeps you on the edge of your seat but still holds true to the world Austen created. An excellent read that has you falling in love with Darcy all over again.
6 - Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
*One of the best books I have read in a long time. It is based in the future where people practically live their whole life in an interactive video game. It is a beautiful mix of action and sci-fi. It is hard to describe, so your just going to have to read it yourself!
7 - Inferno by Dan Brown
*I am so close to being done. Not ready to comment yet.... I need to see how Brown brings this one full circle :)
Did you read any of them?? Share with my your thoughts if so! Also I would love you recommendations on some of your favorite reads that I should get my hands on!
Check out my picks for the month of August, there over on the right sidebar of the blog. Read away my friends!
