Cheap Sunday

I have recently had requests from blog followers to do outfit posts featuring the crazy sale deals that I find because if you didn't know,  I am quite the gifted discount shopper. Deals is my middle name! Yes, I am one of those crazy people who loves black friday. I make the lists, the maps, the time schedule of when stores open & when special early bird deals end & of course I have the coupons. I wear protective knee pads, elbow pads & a mouth guard in case punches are thrown.
When I am in sale mode, I mean business!
*there may have been a few wee exaggerations in the post*

Jacket - H&M - $34.95
Shirt - Tj Maxx - $12.99
Jeans - Nordstrom - $9.97
Shoes - Jessica Simpson - $9.99
Purse - Juicy Couture - $20
Earrings - Forever 21 - $1.50
Nail Polish - China Glaze (Shocking Pink) - $2.33

Yes, that is right, you read it correctly... $9.97 for jeans at Nordstrom! That is definitely not what the tag said on them but when the cashier rang them up she started laughing hysterically because apparently they were deeply discounted for no apparent reason. I like to think of it as God's "feel better gift" to me! I got them right when I was in the midst of Holly's Health Debacle 2012. I was so tired of being home by myself so I figured one little trip to Nordstrom wouldn't hurt anyone & it would make me feel heaps better to get out!

Everything in this post I got on sale except for the H&M jacket, but I have been searching for a
trimmed black jacket for months, so when I saw it there was no turning back. The Juicy bag was a score at a second hand store in Oklahoma City & the nail polish was buy-one-get-one-free at Ulta plus I had a coupon, so it went form $8 to $2.33. The earrings are black hearts with the word love written in black cursive on them & they were my $1.50 find from Forever 21. Every time I wear them I get so many compliments, why is it that people always love your cheap stuff? That question is right up there with, why do you always lose or break your expensive sunglasses but your $4.99 one's can be ran over by a car & they still live!Oh the mysteries of life!

Under The Weather

This picture shows just how I feel.
I have been out with strep throat since Wednesday night. I will be back & up soon but until then
hot tea, sleep & puppy cuddling is all that is on the agenda.

Blue Lace Date Night

Teeny, Tiny, Baby Feet! This photo makes me look like a giant... I'm far from it, good old 5'4!

This was an outfit for a date night out with my hubby.
I love this dress, I just got it from this cute boutique near my house in Suwanee called
Dress Up. Best part is that it was only $38 and it is a keeper!

Bath Time

Just a bit of cuteness to share with you...

Puppy Bath Time!

Dress: Chilly Weather & Cankles

 Tank - Topshop
Jacket - Wet Seal
Vegan Leather Skirt - H&M
Tights - Nordstrom Rack
Shoes - Unlisted (from Nordstrom Rack)

I DON'T have cankles! I just feel like I need to get that off of my chest.
In the picture of my shoes it looks like I have cankles, as a personal trainer & spin instructor
that is not the best picture promoting my legs ;) The things we do for fashion!

This is my easy Saturday outfit. I now what you are thinking... That jean jacket again!?!?!
I know, I have a slight obsession with this jacket, it is practically plastered on my body 24/7.
The reason being is because even though it is almost May it is still chilly here in Atlanta.
In the beginning of April I packed away all of my winter/fall clothes & I refuse to pull any of them out & wear them. So, I am just throwing this jacket over all of my spring clothes and making due until it heats up.
I will not give into this chilly weather!!!

Date Night Atlanta, How I Love You!

My husband is absolutely amazing! I am in awe of all he does & his big heart. Recently he got a new job & I just wanted to take some time to celebrate his hard work & just honor him for all he does. So what better to do than whip up a little date night surprise. So I contacted the best people around to help with this, Date Night Atlanta! If you don't know who they are, I recommend you change that because this company is a life saver. They help you put together any kind of date you could ever imagine & make sure it is the best night you could imagine.
I contacted Date Night Atlanta and within a few hours they were already back to me with options, which I love! They cater to your specific likes & nothing is out of reach. I was given the options of a few different boutique hotels, dinner plans, breakfast plans, in room massages, tickets to events, wine & cheese baskets and so much more. It was so much fun getting to pick & then not having to worry at all while my husbands dream night was being created.

I ended up going with the Twelve Hotel in Atlanta. I had never heard of it before & was a tiny bit nervous with my choice because it is part hotel, part condos, so I wasn't sure of the quality I was getting into. Let me tell you... I was floored! The hotel is chic & modern, nothing overly flashy but absolutely elegant. The service was excellent & the ambiance was so welcoming & chill. The best part, of course, was the room! It was so spacious. It had a full kitchen, full living room, small dinning & desk area, big bedroom with floor to ceiling windows & a bathroom stocked with whatever your heart desired. I was in love!

1 - The entry sign.
2 - The twelve hotel in all of its glory!
3 - Living room area
4 - View from the balcony with my hubby peering over
5 - Lobby/Bar area
6 - The comfiest King size bed ever!
7 - The tastiest assortment of treats I could have ever imagined
8 - Me organizing the treats and taking stock :)
9 - The best find of all... Chocolate!!

Date Night Atlanta made this one of the best nights we have ever had! My hubby was surprised & I wasn't stressed because they handled it all, it was a dream! If you live in the Atlanta area you should definitely check out Date Night Atlanta & look into all of the great date night options that they have available. The sky is the limit with them! And if you book a hotel night with them, make sure you get the food basket... it is so worth it, trust me :)

I hope you all have a great Friday! Go have a fabulous date night with the one you love tonight!

New Hair & A Bit Of Attitude

Tank - Just Ginger
Lace Slip (similar) - Free People
Jean Jacket - Wet Seal (as seen in this post)
Beaded Necklace (worn as a bracelet here) - Free People

I am loving my new hair style! Nothing drastic, I just got my fringe back & a bit more red put in. I always fill a bit more sassy & fashion forward when I have my front fringe. It just feels more like me! This outfit was worn on my date night out with my hubby. The pictures were taken on the balcony of our hotel room at the 12 hotel in Atlantic Station (more details to come tomorrow about our date!).
The slip I am wearing is a Free People piece from last springs line & I absolutely love it. It is one of those pieces that I can't see myself ever getting rid of! All fashion comes back around right? Well the next time full length lace is in I will be well prepared.

I was in such a hyper mood when we took these photos, hence alot of the crazy faces. People always say that I get my facial expressions from my mom and in some of these photos I definitely see it! They scream Sheila B!!

2. Bright Red Lips! I am a huge fan of rocking
a red lip, it just makes your feel sassy! This is my favorite color,
 3. Secret Weapon - BB Cream! If you haven't heard about it yet,
you will. It is equal parts tinted moisturizer, sunscreen, mattifier & anti-ager. It is
the best all-in-one. This is what I wear probably 5 days a week so that I don't have
to put foundation on my face every day.

4. New Colored Skinnies! These are comfy turquoise ones from FP.
I have been searching for this specific color & I jumped for joy when I finally found it.
